Yahooo! Yes I am finally posting! I have no excuses for not posting for so long. I do have to say that homeschooling Weston has become a full time job and it's taken me quite awhile to figure out how to fit everything else mom's do into a lot shorter period of time. Anywho here's what we've been up to!
KAYAKING:
It is our favorite family adventure. Monte and I decided to purchase 2 kayaks this spring. It has been the best decision of our lives! We live close to so many lakes which makes it pretty easy to take off on a whim!
This is our neighbor Heather. She's the one who introduced us to kayaking! We will forever be in her debt.
Besides kayaking we have been biking, taking great hikes, and enjoying where we live. We also went to a Gonzaga baseball game. Heather got our family free tickets. We took the boys (Abbie was babysitting) and had a blast.

Weston won a free hot dog and the highlight of the night he was asked to be the junior announcer during the 6th inning.
Weston had the night of his life! He did a great job announcing the players and loved being in the press box.
Oh I have also taught myself to crochet these last couple of months. I have made 6 hats, 10 dishcloths, 5 towel toppers, 4 towel holders, headbands, slippers, and random coasters. I have found it to be an easy activity to quickly work on while Weston is working on his school work. Here's the hat I made Abbie:
Life is Good! And we are really enjoying it! I had to add this picture because I think it is so cute:
Weston's best friend is Tulah our neighbor Brielle's dog! They play together everyday! It has been the perfect solution for a boy who wants a dog and a mom who is so allergic she starts sneezing watching them play! It's worked out well even though we change clothes and wash hands a lot more!!! My boys and by boys I include Monte have also gotten into long boarding (thanks to Heather) and love it. I'll have to admit it puts a smile on my face watching Monte long board. I hope everyone is doing well! We love and miss all our friends and family!

Yay, a new post! I've missed you. I hope you've had a wonderful mother's day today! We need to chat on the phone sometime. I want to hear all about home school and everything. You guys are so much fun with all your outdoor adventures! I'm feeling inspired. I need to stop being so lazy so I can get out there and go on hikes and stuff! I can't wait for school to get out! Kindergarten plus baby have taken over my life ;) So worth it, of course, but I need to step out into the quiet beauty of nature soon, I think.
