Chelan is absolutely beautiful. Monte goes up there a couple times a month, so we can't wait to go back in the summer and take full advantage of the lake!

Lake Chelan
The week after Christmas Monte had to go to Chelan for work. The kids and I decided to go along since they were out of school. All I had to say was swimming pool and cable and they were sold! I am really glad we decided to go. It helped with the homesickness I was feeling a little during the holidays.

This is the view off the balcony of our hotel room. It was absolutely beautiful.
The kids were so excited to swim, and boy did they swim. I'm amazed at how much they can swim and never get tired. I remeber feeling that way as a child, why does it have to change?

Oh, and I do snowboard. I'm a pro. (I started 2 years ago and have been 3 times. I have a hard time getting off the lift, and I biff it on the bunny hill 'til I'm sore for weeks, but I love it!) :)
